Office Visits

Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand that you or your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.

Your first visit is all about you: your comfort, your happiness, and your health

During your first visit you will start by meeting and having an interview/discussion with the doctor. Your medical and dental history forms will be reviewed in detail, and you will be given time and encouragement to ask any questions you may have of the doctor regarding your dental health, including past concerns and future issues. He will want you to express your desires and concerns for the health, function and/or beautification of your smile to guide him in his eventual comprehensive treatment plan that is for specifically tailored to your needs.  After the interview, the doctor will then perform a complete exam of your teeth, mouth, and gums, take digital photos of your teeth, any necessary X-rays, and conduct an oral cancer screening. This visit may or may not also include the cleaning of your teeth.

Between your first and second visit,  all the results of your discussions, history, physical exam, X-rays, will be reviewed and integrated, and a dental treatment plan will be formulated for you.

During your second visit, you will meet with the doctor to review the photos of your teeth, any x-rays, and discuss the options that you may have for any treatment indicated. Together with the doctor you will formalize and prioritize any treatment needed or desired for optimal dental health and beauty. This visit is usually only 20 to 30 minutes and is it no charge to you.
